Patna railway station had a new ticket collector. In his own trade-mark style Railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was trying to draw attention to a larger problem with the system.

Lalu Prasad turned ticket collector for the day. On his way to Gaya aboard the minister's special, the railway minister decided to play the hard task master. He sent his railway men to look out for ticketless train commuters.

Checking of tickets of communters is a scene that one would normally not witness, and perhaps ended once the minister left the station.
